Lagiss , et ux. } Work Order 6338, L.0-P. 35-70.; } RESOLU`f:IONAPPROVING THE SUMMARY ABANDONMENT OF A PORTION OF HARBOR STREET, COUNTY ROAD NO 6284C AND QUITCLAIM OF SAID PORTION TO ANTHONY G . LAGISS,, ET UX., The Hoard of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVE THAT: A portion of that certain County Road known as Harbor Street (County Road No. 62840) described in the deed from C. A. Hooper and Company to Contra Costa County, recorded March 4 , 19261kin Volume 29 of Official. Records at page 11, has been superseded by relocation. The adjacent property owner, Anthony G. Lagiss, et ux. , tendered a deed dated June 30 , 1970 , for additional right of way required for California Avenue and a 20--foot radius; property line;, return at Harbor Street . Said deed was accepted by this Board on October 27, 1970, and recorded October 27 ,'; 1970, in Hook ' 6243 of- Official: Records ' at page 137 . Allied Properties , et al. , successors of interest to C. A Hooper and Company , :have submitted a Quitclaim 'Deed dated November 16 , 1970 , conveying their reversionary interests in that area of Harbor Street pro- posed for this abandonment . It is therefore proper' that the superseded portion of Harbor Street, County Road No 62840, as described in Exhibit `A`f , attached here-to and by this reference incorporated herein, be summarily abandoned as provided, in Section 960 . 1 of the Streets and Highways Code , and that said abandoned portions be conveyed to Anthony G. Legis: et ux. the adjacent property owner. The Board .finds that said real property is no Longer needed for County purposes and that said abandonment will not cut off access to the property of any person which, prior to this abandon- ment , bandon-meat , adjoined the highway. The superseded portion of said County Read known as Harbor Street, described in attached Exhibit p"A", Is hereby abandoned. The Clerk of this Board is hereby directed to cause a certified copy of this resolution to be recorded in the office of the ,'County Recorder of Contra Crista County. The Chairman of this Board is authorized and directed to execute -,a quitclaim deed on behalf' of the County of Contra Costa -I- RESOLUTION NO. 70/80 conveying; its right title and interest, in the superseded portion' of Harbor Street to Anthony Lagiss, etux, This Board hereby accepts;' the deed dated November 16 , 1970 , from Allied Properties , et al.. , for said interests in Harbor Street and directs its Clerk to record the same in the office of the Recorder of Contra Costa County . Beginning on the easterly line of the County Road known as Harbor Street at the northwest corner of the parcel of land described in the deed from Arnold W. Linscheid, et al, to Anthony G. Lagiss, recorded Ma.y 5, 1959, in Book 3167 of Official Records at page 88 thence from said point of beginning southerly along the easterly line of said Harbor Street, South 16 451 West (the bearing South 160 45' Test being taken for the purpose of this description) 173.23 feet to a point on a curve to the right having a radius of 24 feet from which point the center of said curve "bears North 65° 20' 25�' Fast, thence northerly and westerly along said 20 foot radius curve through a central angle of 41 24 ' 35", an arc distance of 14.45 feet to a, point of tangency with a line parallel with and 5 feet, • measured at right angles, westerly of the easterly line of said Harbor Street, said easterly line of Harbor Street also being the westerly line of said Lagiss Parcel (3167 4R 88) ; thence along said parallel. line North 16° 45' Fast, 164.00 feet to the northerly line of said Lagiss Parcel (3167 4R 88); thence along said northerly line South. 730 15' Fast, 5.44 feet to the point of beginning.
