RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A ZONE; (DANVILLE
BUSINESS AREA) WITHIN COUNTY SERVICE AREA L-45
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT:
On Tuesday, October 13, 1970,, this Board passed 4and 'adopted
Resolution No . 70/664 giving notice of intentionto establish a
zone (Danville ' Business Area) within County Service Area L--45.
Pursuant to Resolution No. 70/664 this Board held a public
hearing on the formation of the proposed zone. Notice of said
hearing was given by publishing' the teat of Resolution No. 70/664
once a week for two successive weeks in the "Valley Pioneer" ,
and pasting the text of said resolution on the bulletin board of
this Board at least fifteen days prior to the hearing date . At
the hearing this Board heard all protests against, and arguments
in favor of, establishing said zone'.
The reason for establishing a zone is to allocate the costs
of installing underground utilities to the Danville business area
in accordance with the benefit that the landowners of that area
will derive from the installation.
A zone of County Service Area L-45 is hereby established for
the Danville business area. The boundaries of said zone are as
described in Exhibit "A" , attached hereto and by this reference>
incorporated herein.
PASSED AND ADOPTED on November 24, 1970, by this Board.
