RESOLUTION SUMPARI;LY ABANDONING A PORTION Off'
RIINE'S VALLEY ROAD (COUNTY ROAD No. <6753) BRENT4500 AREA,
ND ACCEATING A BEER FOR THE RELOCATED PORTION OF SAID ROAD
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa tounty RE.S?VES THAT
A portion of an existing _County rood known as Griones Valley >Road
(County Road No. 6753), RrenVaood ,area, in the County of Contra Costa, has been
;uperseded by relocation. Therefore it i w> propdr that said portionof Briones
Valley goad as described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and by this reference
incorporated herein, be summarily abandoned as provided in Streets and Highway
Code, Section 960.1
Said abandonment wi l 1 not cut off access to the property of any person
which, prior to such relocation, adjoined the highway.
This Board hereby carders that the portion of Briones Valley Road de-
scribed
e-s ribed in Exhibit K" he summar�i l y abandoned. The Clerk of this s Board is
hereby directed to cause a certified copy of this Resolution to be recorded in
the office of the County Recorder of Contra Costa County.
The Contra Costa County Flood Control and titer k onsery tion District has
acquired and tendered to this Board a deed dated April 24, 1967, for the relo-
cated portion of said road.
This Board hereby accepts the deed dated April 24, 1967, for the relo-
cated portion of Briones Valley;Road, and this Board> hereby directs its Clerk'
to se certify 'thereon and to record the same in the office of the ".aunty
Recorder of Contra Costa County.
PASSED AND AWTED on October' 27, 1970 by this Board.

F BIT "A"
That portion of Briones Valley Road that has been super--
seded by realignment, lying within Sections 22, 23 and 27
Township 1 North, Range 2 East Mount Diablo Base and Meridian
lying westerly of the west line of Concord Avenue and lying
northerly of the north line of Briones Valley Road as said
road is described in parcel 2 in the deed entitled Exhibit
"A", Dry Creek Damsite, to Contra Costa County Flood Control
and Fater Conservation District, recorded September 24, 1963,
in Volume 4544,of Official Records at page 648, Contra Costa
County Records
(1) EXCEPTING AND RESERVING TIMREFROM, pursuant to the pro
visions of Section 959.1 of the Streets and Highway
Code, the easement and right at any time or from time
to time for the owner of an existing facility used for
utility purposes, including but not limited to gas lines
to maintain'. operate, replace, remove, renew, and
enlarge existing lines of pipe, and other convenient
equipment and fixtures for the operation of existing
facilities, including access to work on the facilities
and to protect the facilities from all hazards, in,
upon, under and over the easterly 100 feet of the road
hereinbefore described to be abandoned.
(2) AL30 EXCEPTING AND RESERVING T EREFROM, for the benefit
and use of the Contra Costa County Flood Control and
Water Conservation District, a political subdivision,
an appurtenant access easement thereon and thereover for
roadway purposes for ingress to and egress from said
District 's facility known as Dry Creek Dam.
