RESOLUTION INITIATING PROCEEDINGS FOR CHANGE IN
ORGANIZATION TO ANNEX SUBDIVISION 3900 (SOUTH
.SAN RAMON AREta ) TO C(?i,TNTY SERVICE AREA 1-4
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT :
Change in organization by annexation of Subdivision 39001
South San Ramon .Area) to County Service Area M-4 has been,
proposed by the representative of the owner of said subdivision.
Resolution of application for the proposed annexation of Sub-
division 3900 to County Service .Area MA was filed ed by the
representative of the owner with the Executive Officer of the
Local Agency Formation Commission on august 21, 1970. The
reason for this proposed annexation is to provide the said
territory with the services rendered by Court,, Service Area MA
namely, street lighting, street sweeping, and local ' parks ,
recreation or parkway facilities and services .
On October 7 , 1:9703 the Local Agency Formation Commission
approved the resolution of application for the annexation of
Subdivision 3900 to County Service Area; M-4 subject to the
condition that the boundary of the territory proposed to be
annexed shall be as in attached Exhibit "AV. The Commission also
declared the territory proposed to be annexed as uninhabited and
assigned the proposal designation as "Subdivision 39`00 Annexation
to County. Service Area M--4 . " The exterior boundaries of the
territory proposed to be annexed are as described in Exhibit "A" ,
attached hereto and by this reference incorporated rerun and
are located entirely within Contra Costa County?.
At 10 :00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 1, 1970 , in the Chambers
of the Board of Supervisors , Administration Building, Martinez ,
California, this Board will conduct a public hearing; on the
proposed annexation. At the hearing the testimony of all
interested persons or taxpayers for or against the proposed
annexation will be heard, and any :interested person desiring to
crake written protest thereto must do so by Britten communication
"ilea with the Clerk before the hearing. A written prates` by an
owner of land must contain a description sufficient to identify
his land, and a written protest by a voter must contain his
residential address ,
At the conclusion of the hearing, the Board: of Supervisors
shall either disapprove the proposed annexation or order the
annexation in accordance with Government Cede Sections 56320
through 56322.

The Clerk of this Board is hereby directed to publish the
textof this resolution, once a week for two successive` reeks
iia "The Valley Pioneer" , a newspaper of general circulation
published in this County and circulated in the territory wherein
the proposed annexation is situated, the first ,publication to be
made', not later than fifteen (15) days prier to the hea.-J.n ; date.
The Clerk of this Board is also directed to post the text of this
resolution on the bulletin board of this Board at least fifteen
(15)' days prior to the hearing date and such pasting will continue
to the time of the hearing.
The Clerk of this Board is further directed to give notice
by mailing notice of hearing at least fifteen (.15 ) days prior to
the hearing date to all persons and counties, cities or districts ,
which shall have theretofore filed a written request for special
notice with tree Clerk of this Board.

RESOLUTION INITIATING PROCEEDINGS FOR CHANGE IN

AREA) TO COUNTY SERVICE AREA L-45
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT:
Change in organization by annexation of Subdivision 3730
to County Service Area L-45 has been proposed by the Board of
Supervisors of Contra Costa County . Resolution of application
for the proposed annexation of Subdivision 3730 to County
Service Area L--45 was filed by the Clerk of the Board with the
Executive Officer of the Local Agency Formation Commission on
September 8, 1970 , The .reason for this proposed annexation is
to provide the said territory with street lighting services .
On October 7, 1970, the Local Agency Formation Commission
approved the resolution of application for the annexation; of
Subdivision .3730 to County Service Area L-45, without condition,
declared the territory proposed to be annexed as uninhabited and
assigned the proposal designation as "Subdivision 3730 Annexation
to County Service Area L--4511 The exterior boundaries of the
territory proposed to be annexed are as described in Exhibit "A",
attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein.
At 10 : 00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 1, 1970, in the Chambers
