In the Matter of Changes
of the Assessment Roll RESOLUTION NO. 71/556
of Contra Costa County
WHEREAS, the County Assessor having filed with this Board requests
for correction of erroneous assessments, said requests having been consented
to by the Ditt-rinet-Attemer, County Cou-nsel;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the County Auditor is
authorized to correct the following assessments:
For the Fiscal Year 196,2 - 19V:ZO , 1970-71, and
1971-72
It has been ascertained from the assessment roll and from
papers in the Assessor's office what was intended and what should
have been assessed; and, therefore, pursuant to the Revenue and
Taxation Coder Section 4831, the following defects in description
and/or form and clerical errors of the assessor on the roll should
be corrected as follows:
In Code Area 14002, Parcel No. 240-150-023, is erroneously
assessed to 14archant Development Co. , Inc. , inasmuch as through
oversight the name of the a's'sessee was not changed at the time title
to the property was transferred as recorded in Book 5495, Page 364,
of the Official Records , on November 14, 1967. This assessment should
be corrected to show the following assessees: Dale A. and Ethel D.
Webster, 721 Old Jonas Hill Road, ,Lafayette, California.
In Code Area 14019 , Parcel No. 237-382-002, is erroneously
assessed for the year 1971-72 to Baugh, 414itchel 0. et al, whereas
title to the property was transferred by grant deed recorded in Book
6131, Page 278, of the Official Records, 'lay 19, 1970, and the 1971-72
assessment roll should be corrected to read: Lim, Howard and 14ary T. ,
7868 Surrey Lane, Oakland, California 94605, and;
FURTHER, this parcel has been erroneously assessed with Land
value of $2,590 for the 1969-70, 1970-71, and 1971-72 tax years, due

to error in transferring 'wrong figure from the calculate to the
property record. ThIs assessment should be corrected for all three
years to read: Land $1,69O. There is no improvement value.
