In the Matter of Consummating Purchase
and Acceptance of Dead. from San Francisco
Federal Savings and Loan Association for
Real Property Required for the Orinda RESOLUTION NO. 71/51.1
Fire Protection District (Orinda Downs
Station Site) .
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County as the Board of
Directors of the Orinda Fire Protection District RESOLVES THAT.-
This
HAT:This Board on July 13, 1971 adopted Resolution of Intention
No. 71/449 and notice fixing August 10, 1971, at 11 a.m. in the
Board's Chambers, Administration Building, Martinez, California, as
the time and place when it would meet to consummate purchase of the
real property described therein from San Francisco Federal Savings
and Loan Association, said property being required for a fire station
site. Said resolution of intention was published in the Orinda Sun
as required by law.
This Board hereby approves said purchase.
The Count Auditor is hereby directed to draw a warrant in favor
of Escrow No. 420510-1, Western Title Guarantor Compan , Orinda,
California, in the sum of Eighteen Thousand Dollars (T18,000.04) for
this property for payment to San Francisco Federal Savings and an
Association, upon their conveying to the County a, grant deed for this
property.
This deed is hereby accepted, and the Clerk of this Board is
ordered to cause it to be recorded in the office of the County
Recorder together with a certified copy of this resolution.
PASSED .AND ADOPTED on August 10, 1971.
