Cade 056310, 563114 Service Area R-5 56312, 56313) } RESOLUTION INITIATING PROCEEDINGS FOR CHANGE ,IN ORGANIZATION TO ANNEX SUBDIVISION 3806 '(South Danville Area) TO COUNTY SER=NICE AREA R- ' The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT: Change in organization by annexation of Subdivision 3806 (South, Danville: Area) to County Service Area R-5 has been proposed by the owner. Resolution of application for 'the ''proposed 'annexation of Subdivision 3806 to the County Service Area R-5 was filed by the owner with the Executive Officer of the Local Agency Formation Commission on June 11, 1971. The reason'' for such proposed annexa- tion is to provide the said territory with recreation and park services. On July 7,, 1971 the Local Agency Formation Commission, approved the resolution of application for the annexation of Subdivision 3806 to County Service Area R-5 without condition, declared the territory proposed to be annexed as uninhabited, and assigned the proposal designation as "Subdivision 3806 Annexation to County Service Area R-5". The exterior boundaries of the territory proposed to be annexed' are as described in Exhibit "A`t, attached hereto and by this reference Incorporated herein. At 10 : 40 a.m. on Tuesday,, September 7, 1971, in the Chambers of the Beard of Supervisors, Adminis'tration Building,., Martinez, California, this Board will conduct a public 'hearing on the pro- posed annexation. At the hearing the testimony of all interested persons or taxpayer` fear or against the proposed annexation will be heard, and, any 'interested persons desiring to make written protest thereto must do so by written communication filed> with the Clerk before the hearing. A written protest by an owner of land mast contain a description sufficient' to identify his Land,, and a written protest by a voter must contain his residential address . RESOLUTION No. 71/476 At the conclusion of the hearing, the Board of Supervisors shall either disapprove the proposedannexation or order the annexation Ir accordance with Government Code §§56,320 thio€ f h 56322. The Clerk of this Board Is hereby directed to publish the text of this resolution once a week for two successive weeks in "The Valley Pioneer" , a newspaper of genera. circulation 'puhlished in this count; and circulated in the territory wherein the rroposed annexation is situated, the, first publication to be made not later than fifteen (15) days 'prior to the hearing date . The Clerk of this Board_ :is also directed> to post the text of this resolution on the bulletin board of this Beard at least Fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing bate and such roosting will continue to the time of the hearing. The Clerk of this Board is further directed, to give notice by mailing notice of hearing, at least fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to all persons and counties , cities , or districts , which shall have theretofore filed a. written .request for special notice with the Clerk of this Board. PASSED AND ADOPTED on July 27, 1871 by this Board.
