Area. ) 25210. 14, 25210. 15 , 2521.0. 16) 7 NOTICE AND RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ESTABLISH COUNTY SERVICE AREA NO, R--7ALAMO-DANVILLE AREA ro the Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT: N)tice is hereby given that on June 1I. 1.,71, an application for the formation of proposed County Service Area R -7 in the Alamo- Danville lamo-Da ville area was filed by Mr. Jim Callaghan, Parks Chairman,, San RamonValley Community Centex, Inc. , with the Executive Officer of the Local Agency Formation Commission. On July 7, 1971, the Local; Agency Formation Commission approved the application. Therefore, this hoard proposes that County Service, Area No. R--7 ; be established pursuant to Chapter 2.2 (commencing with; §25210. 1) of the Government Code in the unincorporated area of Contra Costa County. The ex- terior boundaries of the territory proposed; for inclusion in the area, are more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by reference incorporated herein. The name proposed for the area is "County Service Area No. 133-7. " It is 'proposed that the extended services of parks and recreation be provided within the area. Except where funds are otherwise available from service charges collected pursuant to Section 2521.0.77a, a tax sufficient to pad= for all such services which are furnished on an extended basis will be annually levied upon all taxable property within such area. At 1.1: 05 a.m. on Tuesday, August 31, 1971, in the Chambers of the Board of Supervisors , County Administration Building, Martinez, California, this Board will conduct a. public hearing upon the pro- posed establishment of County Service Area No. R-7. At the hearing the testimony of all interested persons or taxpayers for or against' the proposed establishment of County Service Area No. R-7,, the extent of the area or the furnishing of the specified types of extended services will be heard. The Clerk of this Board is hereby directed to give notice of said proposed formation of County Service Area No. R--7 by publishing notice; pursuant to Government Code Section 6061. in "The Valley Pioneer" , a newspaper of general circulation in the area< of the proposed County Service Area No. R»-7. Publication shall be com- pleted at least seven days prior to August 31, 1971, PASSED AND ADOPTED on July 20 , 1971.
