NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Sealed bids will be received in the office of the County Right
of Way Agent, 5th floor, Administration Building, Martinez, California,
until 10 :00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 28, 1971, for thedemolitionand
removal from County property, the following described buildings :
Item One : A. 150 Camino Pablo, 6 room,
oom. 1900 sq.ft.
wood frame house with attached 2--car
garage.
C;
B. 164 Camino Pablo, 5 room, 900 sq.ft.
wood frame house with attached 2-car
garage.
C. 168 Camino Pablo; remove all foundations,
concrete flatwork and debris .
D. 170 Camino Pablo., 7 room, 1400 sq.ft .
wood framne house with 2-car attached
garage.
E. 174 Camino Pablo,, 5 room, 1000 sq.ft .
wood frame house with one-car attached
garage.
F. 10 Cresta Blanca,, 4 room, 1174 sq. -L"t.
wood frame house with detached 1-car
carport.
Specifications and Proposal forms are available at the office of
the County Right OfTay Agent,_ 5th. Floor, Admin, Bldg. , Martinez,
California. Phone : 226-3000, extension 2134.
Bidding is to be done on a lump sum basis, partial or contingent
bids will not be considered. All bidders will be required to submit
with their bid a bid bond, cash, or cashier 's check-in 'the amount of
$100.00 as a bid guaranty.
The successful bidder will be required to execute a Demolition ,
Contract with the County of Contra Costa, agreeing that said demoli-
tion and removal will be done in accordance with the Specifications
for Demolition and Removal of Buildings dated July 13, 1971. The
accepted bidder will also be requir-ed to submit to the County a per-
formance bond in the amount of $5,000, and a labor and material bond
in the amount of 50% of the contractor 's estimated cost of labor, as
approved by the County.
The County reserves the right to reject any and all bids received,
