Specific Requests or Recommendations & Background & Justification RECOMMENDATION 1. Accept request to vacate portion of Teresa Lane upon payment of fee. 2. Reject request that fees be waived. BACKGROUND Access of Teresa Lane to Highway 4 was temporarily allowed by the conditions of approval for Subdivision 4454, now owned by Mr. Charlie Pringle, until permanent access became available from adjacent development at which time the access would be vacated and the lot could be developed for sale. On January 10, 1984, the County accepted the eastern portion of Teresa Lane constructed by Subdivision 5674, thereby allowing the vacation procedure to commence. Mr. Pringle has by letter dated January 10, 1984, requested that the access be vacated and further that the required fee of $1,200 be waived. The vacation fee of $1,200, as established by the Board on October 6, 1981, is to be used to defray the costs of staff time, publishing costs, etc. for Clerk of the Board, County Counsel , Planning Department, and Public Works Department.
