The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT:
The Public Works Director has informed this .Board that the
excess property located between. Orinda ?day and Camino Pablo ,
Orinda Village Shopping_ Center, is no longer needed for County;
purposes, and recommends that said property described,. in Exhibit
'W' , attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference,, be sold
in accordance with Section 25520, et ,seg , of the Government Code,
as required by law.
This Board, declares its intention to sell the above property
under the 'terms and conditions contained in the Notice attached
hereto and made a Dart hereof.
The minimum price for said real property is Forty--Seven
Thousand Dollars ($47,000.00) s and the minimum bid deposit shall
be Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) .
The terms and conditions set forth in the Notice to Bidders
as prepared by the County Right of Way Agent are hereby approved.
This Board sets Tuesday, the 27th day of July, 197I at
11: 00 a.m. in the Chambers of the Board of Supervisors , Room 107 ,
Administration Building, Martinez , California, as the time and
place for a public meeting of said Boardwhere sealed proposals
and auction bids shall be received and considered.
The Clerk of this Board is directed to cause the notice of the
adoption of this resolution and of the time and place' of holding
saidpublic meeting; to be given by publishing said notice, pursuan,
to Government Code §6063, in the " ()RINDA. Sim ' , a newspaper
of general circulation published in sa ourty, and by posting
notices of said resolution signed by the Chairman of this Board, in
three (3) public places in the County, as follows.`
1. At the County Court House, "Martinez, Calif.
2. At the Orinda Public Library, 2 Irwin flay,
Orinda, California,
3 . At the County Administration Building, Martinez,
California, not less than fifteen (15) days from
the date of said meeting,

Portion of Lot 1, as shown the map of the Rancho El Sobrante, '
filed March 14, 1910, in the office of the County Recorder of Contra
Costa County, described as follows :
Beginning at a point on the southeasterly line of the 6.01 acre
parcel of land described in the deed to Robert H. Bolman, et al,
recorded on July 27, 1954, in Volume 2355 of Official Records, page
7, from which point the most easterly corner of said 6.01 acre parcel
bears .North 47015' 19" East, 262.83 feet; said point of beginning
also being the most westerly corner of a parcel of land described in
the deed to General Petroleum Corporation (2 .05 or 86; thence from
said point of beginning along the most southwesterly line of the
General Petroleum parcel (2405 or 86 as follows : South 33011' '40"
East, 58.00 feet, S. 5(f 29' 51`' E, 6 .04 feet; St 75°59' 21" E, 90.3'4
feet; S. 4Y31' 3 E, 80.08 feet, thence leaving said southwesterly
line S. 47"15' 19 ` W 167. .97 feet to a point on a curve to the right
having a radius of 1450 feet, concentric to and 50 feet northerly,
measured radially from Engineers Station 19+26.50 on the center line
of the County Road known as Orinda. Bypass (Road Not 0961) ; thence

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO SELL REAL PROPERTY
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Contra Costa, State of California, has, on the 22rd day of
June , 1971, in regular meeting, adopted a resolution by a two-thirds
(2/3) vote of all of its members ., declaring its intention to sell
Contra Costa County real property between Orinda Way and Camino
Pablo in the Orinda Village Shopping Center, Assessors Parcel No .
265-170-024 , as further described in said resolution.
NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that it is proposed to sell said
property consisting of approximately 43,870 square feet of land to
the highest bidder; that the minimum price for said property is to
be the sum of Forty-Seven Thousand Dollars ($47,000. 00) ; that
Tuesday, the 27th day of July, 1971 , at 11:00 a.m. , in the Chambers
of the Board of Supervisors, County Administration Building, Martinez,
California, has been fixed as the time and place when said Board of
Supervisors will receive and consider sealed proposals accompanied
with a minimum Five Thousand Dollars ( $5 ,000.00) bid deposit to
purchase said property .
Terms and conditions for the sale , bid forms, and specific
descriDtion of the property will be furnished by the County Right of
Way Agent , Fifth Floor,, County Administration Building, Martinez,
California, (Phone 228-3000) , on application.
At the time set for the opening of bids , any person present
may offer orally to increase the amount of the highest written bid
by at least five percent (5% ) and to continue thereafter to bid
orally in any amount until the hip-hest oral bid is finally accepted,
