RESOLUTION GRANTING JURISDICTION TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CONCORD, IN THE MATTER OF ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 51., CITY OF CONCORD, CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Concord, Contra Costa County, California, did, on the 24th day of May, 1971, adopt a Resolution Requesting Jurisdiction of the County of Contra Costa in connection with Assessment District No. 51, City of Con- cord, Centra Costa County, California, which said Resolution pro- posed the construction of certain improvements and the acquisition of necessary interest's in real property; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Concord did, by its Resolution No. 4344 , request the consent of this Board of Supervisors thereto; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervi- sors of the County of Centra Costa, State of California, that the public interest and convenience require the making of the improve-- ments. and acquisitions described in said proposed Resolution No. 4344 above referred to and in the manner therein set forth, and that all of the lands included within the assessment district des- cribed in said proposed Resolution of Intention will be benefited by said proposed improvements and acquisitions. BE IT FURTER RESOLVED that this Board of Supervisors of the County of Contra Costa hereby gives consent to the forma- tion of said assessment district described in the proposed Reso- lution of Intention, to the rraking of the improvements and acquisitions RESOLUTIOX NO. 71./.379 . . .. ..... ................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................... therein described, and to the assumption of jurisdiction by the City Council of the City of Concord for all purposes in connection with the formation of said assessment district and the making of the improvements and acquisitions including the levy- ing, collecting and enforcement of the assessment of costs in rela- tion to benefits received from the various improvements and: acquisi- tions . The County Clerk of the County of Contra Costa is hereby ... directed to certify a copy of this resolution and transmit it to the City Clerk of the City of Concord. . I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly adopted by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Contra Costa, State of California, at a regular meeting thereof, held on the 8th day of June, 1971, by the following vote, to wit: AYES* Supervisors A.
