IN THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, STATE OF CALIFORNIA In the Matter of the Allocation of the Balance of Funds Available RESOLUTION NUMBER 70/587 from The State Beach,, Park, Recreational and Historical Bond Act of 1964. WHEREAS this Board has been advised that the sum of $26,300 may be allocated to Contra Costa County from the balance ($1,000,000) of funds available from the State Beach, Park, Recreational and Historical Facilities Bond Act of 1964 ; and WHEREAS this Board heretofore turned over to the East Bay Regional Park District the original allocation of monies available to Contra Costa County under said act for regional park land acquisition purposes by said district within this county; and WHEREAS said supplementary allocation of $26,300 may be used to good advantage for regional park purposes within Contra Costa County by said district; and WHEREAS numerous interested parties and agencies, including the Contra Costa County Recreation and Natural Resources Commission, have recommended that said sum of $26,300 be turned over to said district for use in connection with the Las Trampas Regional Park in Contra Costa County; and WHEREAS the County Administrator has also recommended that aforesaid action be taken with the understanding that the $26,300 be matched to the maximum extent practicable with federal funds and that the $26,300 Plus federal matching money be utilized for the acquisition of additional lands for the Las Trampas Regional Park; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT BY THIS BOARD RESOLVED that the aforesaid recommendation of the County Administrator is APPROVED. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of September, 1970 by the following vote of the Board: AYES: Supervisors J. P. Kenny, A. M. Dias, J. E. Moriarty, E. A. Linscheld, T. J. Coll. NOES : None.
