The Board of Supervisors of Contra. Costa County RESOLVES THAT :
The Pacific Cas & Electric Co. M G.& E. ) has requested a
temporary- Grant of Easement for a period of three (3) years, for
an electric transmission pole line across County property, and
the County Administrator has recommended that said easement
described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto, be sold in accordance
with Government Code Section 25520,, et 'seq. , as required by law:
The ,granting of said pole line easement is no Langer required:
for County purposes , nor will it interfere with the use of the
County fee estate,;
This Board declares its intention to sell the above easement
under the terms and conditions contained in the Notice attached
hereto and made a part <hereof;;_
The minimum price for ,said easement is to be Three Hundred
Dollars ($300.010) , and the terms and conditions set forth in the
Notice to Bidders as prepared by the County light of Way Agent is
hereby approved;
This Board sets Tuesday, October 1.;3 > 1970, at 10 a.m. in,
its Chambers , County Administration Building, Martinez , California;,
as the time and place for a public meeting of this Board where
sealed proposals shall be received and considered;

The Clerk of this Board is directed to .cause the notice of
the adoption of this resolution and of the time and place of
holding said public meeting to be given by pasting notices of said
resolution signed by the Chairman of this Board, in throe (3)
public places in the County, not less than fifteen (15) days from,
the date of said meting, and by publishing said 'noti'ce , pursuant
to Government Diode Section 6063, in the CONTRA COSTA TIMES ,
a newspaper of general circulation published in said County.
PASSED AND ADOPTED on September 1 , 19700 by at least two-thirds
(2/3) vote of this Board.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO SELL A REAL PROPERTY EASEMENT
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Supervisors of
Contra Costa County, California, in regular meeting on September 1,
1970, adopted a resolution by a two--thirds (2/3) vote of all its
members , declaring its intention to sell for the Country of Contra
Costa a temporary electric transmission pale line easement for a
x period of three (3) years , 100 'feet in width located along the
northerly boundary Line of the County Juvenile Hall Property
(Assessor' s Parcel No. 154-030 -001) in this County as described in
Exhibit "A" attached to said resolution.
NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that it is proposed to sell
said temporary easement to the highest bidder, under the following
terms and conditions :
(1) Minimum price for easement $300. 00.
(2) A temporary easement only, to expire 3 years from
date of approval by the Board of Supervisors, or
sooner and at such time as required for highway
purposes .
Tuesday , Octa!2r ,la , 1970, at 10 a.m. in the Board's
Chambers in the County Administration Building, Martinez , Cali-
fornia, has been fixed as the time and place when the Board will
receive and consider sealed proposals to purchase said property.
At the time set for the opening of bids , any person present
may orally offer to increase the amount of the highest written bid
by at least five per cent (5%) and continue thereafter to bid
orally in any amount until the highest oral bid is finally accepted.

1. A strip of land of the uniform width of 100 feet lying con--
tiguous to. and southerly of .(a) the northerly, boundary line
Of the 25 acre parcel of land described in the deed from
William A. 'Sears, Jr. , and wife to County of Contra. Crista
dated April 22, 1948 and recorded in the office of the
County Recorder of said Count of Contra Costa in Book 1195
of Official Records at 'Page Y4, and (b) the northerly
boundary line of the 1,715 acre parcel of land described in
the deed from Joe ,M. Duarte to County of Contra Costa
dated June 20, 1949 and recorded in the office of said
County< Recorder in Book- 1411 of Official Records at page 183,
said northerly boundary lines beim the southerly, boundary
line of the state highway known as Arnold Industrial Highway,
and extending from the westerly boundary line' of said 1.7 :5
acre parcel of land easterly 82' feet, more or less, to
the westerly boundary line of Glacier Drive, as said Glacier
Drive, is shown upon the map of Subdivision 2194, Muir Meadows,
filed for record in the office of said County Recorder in
Book 97 of Maps at Mage 40. ;
2.' A strip of land of the uniform width of 100 feet lying con-
tiguous to and southerly of the northerly boundary line of
the 18 acre parcel of land described in the deed from Elsie W.
Sears to Contra Costa County dated June 'l, 1957' and recorded
in the office of said County Recorder in Book 3025 of Official
Records at 'page 276, the northerly boundary line of sai,d '1`8 acre
parcel of land being the southerly boundary line ref .said state
highway and extending from the westerly boundary line of said
