BACKGROUND: AB 2264, by Assemblywoman Moorhead, would require the State Department of Health Services, to the extent permitted by federal law or after obtaining an appropriate federal waiver, to develop and implement a program to divide their annual inspections of long-term health care facilities into three (3) or more segments in order to provide for more frequent visitations to such facilities. To the extent that AB 2264 would require that State staff be in long-term health care facilities more often, it is `consistent with existing Board policy and, therefore, deserves the support of the Board of Supervisors. i CONTINUED ON ATTACHMENT: YES SIGNATURE: _X RECOMMENDATION OF COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR RECOMMENDATION OF BOARD COMMITTEE APPROVE OTHER SIGNATURES) 4,ZJ"C4't ACTION OF BOARD ON a rU ry 14,9 19014 APPROVED AS RECOMMENDED X OTHER VOTE OF SUPERVISORS UNANIMOUS (ABSENT ) I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THIS IS A TRUE AYES: NOES: AND CORRECT COPY OF AN ACTION TAKEN ABSENT: ABSTAIN: AND ENTERED ON THE MINUTES OF THE BOARD County Administrator OF SUPERVISORS ON THE DATE SHOWN.
