COSTA COUNTY, STATE OF CALIFORNIA In the Matter of Opposition to Proposod } Waterfowl Hunting ) RESOLUTION NUMBER 70/476 Limitation. WHEREAS the Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County has been apprised of a proposal currently before the Fish and Game Commission of the State of California which would limit the hunting of waterfowl to three days a week, namely, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday (plus holidays)t and: WHEREAS it is the opinion of this Board that said proposal would be unduly restrictive to the "unattached hunter who would be excluded from hunting during a great portion of the migratory season if the aforesaid restriction is approved: and WHEREAS consideration of proposals and adoption of the 1970-71 Waterfowl Hunting Regulations will be a matter of business before the Commission at its meeting to be held in San Francisco, California on August 21, 197031 NOW, THEREFORE, SE IT BY THIS BOARD RESOLVED that it hereby opposers Limitation of waterfowl hunting to three days a wweek f and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Supervisor E. A. Linscheid is requested to advise the State Fish and Game Commission of the unanimous opposition of this Board to the adoption of such regulations, PASSED AND ADOPTED this 28th day of July, 1970 by the following vote of the Board: AYES& Supervisors J.
