The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT:
This Board authorized acquisition of certain real properties
for highway purposes described in the deed from Thomas E. Carroll
et ux, recorded July 13, 1960, in Book 3659 of Official Records
at page 495; and
Portion of said property has been abandoned simultaneously
herewith by Resolution No. 70/437 dated July 21, 1970; and
This Board hereby determines that said portion of said
property will not be required ,for highway purposes, which are
described in attached Exhibit "A" hereby incorporated herein; and
Pursuant to Streets and .Highways Code Section 960.4 it is
hereby determined that said property should be conveyed to the
adjacent owner, Rbbmar Development Co. In consideration of certain
street improvements , and this Board hereby authorizes and approves
said conveyance; and
The Chairman of this Board is hereby authorized and directed
to execute a deed for and on behalf of the County, and cause the
same to be delivered to said grantees for recording .

REAL PROPERTY in the County of Contra Costa, State of California, de-
scribed as follows :
A PORTION of the Rancho Laguna De Los Colorados, described as follows :
BEGINNING at a point on the western line of the parcel of land de-
scribed in the deed to Contra Costa County, recorded June 13, 1956, in
Book 2786 of Official Records of Contra Costa County, at page 495,
distant thereon along the arc of a curve to the right with a radius of
640 feet, from a tangent bearing North 19* 42 , 4111 west, through an
angle of 20* 35' 31", for a distance of 230.01 feet from the intersec-
tion thereof with the northwestern line of the parcel of land described
as Parcel Two in the deed to Don H. Bonar, et al, recorded April 18V
1960, in Book 36o0 of Official Records of Contra Costa County at page 171;
thence North 22* 241 01" West along the western line of a parcel of
land described in the deed to Contra Costa County, recorded July 13,
1960, in Book 3659 of Official Records of Contra Costa County at
page 495, for a distance of 61.09 feet; thence North 21* 54, 45" East
107.19 feet; thence North 740 10East 5.672 feet; thence southwesterly
along the arc of a curve to the left with a radius of 640 feet, from
a tangent bearing South 15* 09' 1611 west, through an angle of 14'0 161
26% for a distance of 159.441 feet to the point of beginning.
Containing an area of 0.074 acres of land, more or less.
EXCEPTING AND RESERVING THEREFROM, pursuant to the provisions of Section
959.1 of the Streets and Highway Code, the easement and right at any
time or from time to time for Pacific Gas & Electric Company, the owner
of an existing facility used for utility purposes,, including but not
limited to transmission and distribution lines for electric power and
communication services, to maintain, operate, replace, remove, renew,
and enlarge existing conduits, cables, poles,. wires and other con-
venient equipment and fIxtures for the operation of existing facilities,
including access to work on the facilities and to protect the facilities
from all hazards in, upon, under and over the road hereinbefore de-
scribed to be abandoned by said County of Contra Costa.
