IN THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA_ COUNTY, STATE OF CALIFORNIA In the Matter of the Proposed } RESOLUTION NO. 70/433 Dissolution of County Service � Area T-1; (El Sobrante Areal } (Gov. Code Secs. 5636G, 56361 , 5,6362 RESOLUTION INITIATING PROCEEDINGS FOR DISSOLUTION OF COUNTY SERVICE AREA `S'--1 (EL SOBRANTE AREA) The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT: Dissolution of County Service Area T-1 (El Sobrante Area) has been proposed by the Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County. A resolution of application from the Board of Super- visors was filed with the Executive Officer of the Local. Agency Formation Commission on May 29 , 1970 . The county service area is located entirely in Contra Costa County . The reasons for the proposed dissolution of County Service Area T--1 are that in the immediate past there has been a nonuser of corporate powers by the said county service area, that there Is a reasonable possibility that such nonuser may continue , that the said county service area has no assets other than money in the form of cash, or liabilities . On July 1, 1970 , the Local agency Formation Commission approved the resolution of application without condition. At 10 a.m. on Tuesday , .August 25 , 1970 , in the Chambers of the Board of Supervisors , Administration Building, Martinez , California, this Board will conduct a public hearing on the proposed dissolution. At the hearing the testimony of all interested persons or taxpayers for or against the proposed dissolution will be heard, and any interested person desiring to mane written protest thereto must do so by written communi- cation filed with the Clerk not later than the hour set for hearing. A written protest by an owner of land must contain a description sufficient to identify his land, and a written protest by a voter must contain his residential address . At the conclusion of the hearing the Board of Supervisors shall either disapprove or approve the dissolution in accordance with Government Code Section 56366. The Clerk of this Board is HEREBY DIRECTED to publish the text of this resolution once a week for two successive weeks in the "E1 Sobrante Herald Bee Press" , a newspaper of general circulation published in this County and circulated in the territory wherein the proposed dissolution is situated, the first publication to be made not later than fifteen (15) days prior to -1- RESOLUTION NO. 70/433
