IN THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, STATE OP CALIPORNIA In the Matter of Extending Compliments and Beat Wishes to the Honorable Adolfo G. Dominguez,, Consul General of l RESOLUTION NUMBER 70/397 the United Mexican States. WHMMS this Board has been apprised that the Honorable Adolfo G. Dominguez in retiring as Consul General of the United Mexican States; and WHMMS Mr. Dominguez has a distinguished career in the Mexican Foreign Service extending over a period of nearly, half a century and WHERFAS most of the service of Mr. Dominguez has been rendered in the United States of America and for the last twelve years as Consul General in San Pranciscoo California; and WHEREAS Mr. Dominguez has been a key figure in developing an enduring and neighborly friendship and respect between his country and ours; and WHEREAS the City of San Pablo in Contra Costa County and the City of Manzanillo, Mexico have become sister cities to foster between them continuing good''will and mutual high regard; and WHEREAS the Manzanillo-San Pablo Sister City Committee is holding a reception in honor of Mr. Dominguez on July 9., 1970p- NOWt THEREFORE, BE IT BY THE BOARD Or SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY,, CALIFORNIA RESOLVED that it extends to the Honorable Adolfo G. Dominguez its sincere compliments on his distinguished career, expresses to him its warmest thanks for his outstanding work in behalf of the United Mexican States and the United States of America, and wishes for him and Mrs. Dominguez a long and happy life in well deserved retirement. PASSED and ADOPTED on June 30, 1970 by the following vote of the Board: AYES: Supervisors J. P. Kenny, A. M. Dias, J. E. Moriarty, T. J. Coll. NOES: None. ABSENT: Supervisor E. A. Linscheid.
