C. §25526) The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa CountyRESOLVES THAT: The Pacific Gas & Electric Co . _(P.G.& E. ) has requested a Grant of Easement for electric transmission tourers and lines across County property, and the County Administrator has recommended that said easement described in Exhibit "At', attached hereto, be sold in accordance with Government Cade Section 25520, et seq. , as required by law, The granting of said tower line easement is no longer reaured for County purposes, nor will it interfere with the use of the County .fee estate; This Board declares its intention to sell the above easement under the terms and conditions contained in the Notice attached hereto and made a part hereof; The minimum _price for said easement is to be Thirty-three Thousand. Seven Hundred Sixty Dollars ($33,760 . 00) ; and the terms and conditions set forth in the Notice to Bidders as prepared by the County Right of Way Agent is hereby approved This. Board sets Tuesday, July 21 , 1970, at 10 a.m. in its Chambers , County Administration Building, Martinez, California, as the time and place for a public meeting of this Board: where sealed proposals shall be received and considered; The Clerk of this Beard is directed to cause the notice of the adoption of this resolution and of the time and place of holding said public meeting to be given by posting notices of said resolution signed by the Chairman of this Board, in three (3) public places in the County, not less than fifteen (15) days from the date of said meeting, and by publishing said notice, pursuant to Government Code Section 6063, in the CONIIA. COST.'A, TITMES , a newspaper of general circulation published in said County. EXHIBIT "A`► The 25 acre parcel of land, situate in Rancho Las Juntas, described in the deed from William A. Sears, Jr. and wife to County of Contra Costa. dated April 22, 1948 and recorded in the office of the County Recorder of said County of Contra Costa in Book 1195 of Official Records at page 564, and in the deed from Joe M. Duarte to Contra Costa County dated June 20, 1949 and recorded July 8, 1949 in Book 1411, page 183 of said 'Official Records. _ The aforesaid strip is described as follows : A strip of land of the uniform width. of 90 feet lying con= tiguous to and easterly of the westerly boundary line of the 1.715 acre parcel of land described in the deed from Joe M. Duarte to County of Contra Costa dated June 20, 1949 and recorded July 8, 1949 in the office of the County Recorder of said County of Contra Costa in Book 1411 of Official Records at page 183 ' and extending from the southerly boundary line of said 1.715 acre parcel of land northerly 1243 feet, more or less, to the northerly boundary line of said 1.715 acre parcel .of land and the 25 acre parcel of land described in deed from William A. a Sears, Jr. and wife to County of Contra. Costa dated April 22, 1948 and recorded in the office of the County Recorder of said County of Contra Costa in Book 1195 of Official Records at page 564; said northerly boundary line being the southerly boundary line of the state highway known as Arnold Industrial Highway. }: { r 70 /36 ' s NOTICE Or INTENTION TO SELL A REAL PROPERTY EASEMENT NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County, California, in regular meeting on June 23, 1970, adopted a resolution by a tato-thirds (2/3) vote of all its members , declaring its intention to sell for the County of Contra. Costa an electric transmission tower line easement 90 feet in _ width containing approximately 2-1/2 acres of vacant land located along the westerly boundary line of the County Juvenile Hall Property (Assessor' s Parcel No . 154-030--001 ) in this County as described in Exhibit "A" attached to said resolution. NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that it is proposed to sell said easement to the highest bidder, under the following terms and conditions . (1) Minimum price for easement $33,760 . O0 (2 ) Cause to have abandoned and quitclaim the old tower line easement across the southeast portion of the County property containing approximately 1. 58 acres of property. ( 3) Provide suitable landscaping along the westerly easement line and provide maintenance for such landscaping for a minimum of two years . Tuesday, July 2"1 , 1970, at 20 a.m. in the Board's Chamber's in the County Administration Building, Martinez, California, has been fixed as the time and place when the Beard will receive and consider sealed proposal's to purchase said property . At the time set for the opening of bids , any person present may orally offer to increase the amount of the highest written bid by at Least five per cent (5%) and continue thereafter to bid orally in any amount until the highest oral bid is finally accepted.
