NOTICE AND RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ESTABLISH
COUNTY SERVICE AREA 'Nth. D-5 , EL SOBRANTE .AREA
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT.
Notice is hereby given that on June 9, 1970, two members of
this Board filed in the office of the County Clerk of this County
their signed 'written request for the. formation of County Service
Area No. D-5• Prior to the filing of said request, the approval
of the Local Agency Formation Commission was sought by applica-
tion filed with the Executive. Officer of said Commission. On
June 3, 1970 , the Local Agency Formation Commission approved the
application. Therefore, this Board proposes that a County
Service Area be established pursuant to Chapter 2.2 (commencing
with §Z52'10.1) of the Government Code in the unincorporated area
of Contra Costa County. The exterior boundaries of the territory
proposed for inclusion, in the area are more particularly described`
in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by .reference incorporated
herein.
The name> proposed for the area is "County Service Area No.
D-511 , It is proposed that the extended services of correction of
drainage problems and drainage services be provided within the
area. Except where funds are otherwise available from service
charges collected pursuant to Section 25210.77a, a tax sufficient
to pay for all such services which are: furnished on an extended
basis will be annually levied upon all: taxable property within
such area.
At 10 a.m. on Tuesday , July 21, .-1970, in the Chambers of the
Beard of Supervisors , County Administration Building, Martinez ,
California, this 'Board will conduct a public hearing upon the
proposed establishment of County Service Area No. b-5. At the
hearing, the testimony of all interested persons or taxpayers for
or against the proposed establishment of County Service' Area No.
D-5, the extent of the area or the furnishing of the specified
types of extended services will be heard.
The Clerk of this Board is hereby directed to give notice of
said proposed formation of County Service Area No. D--5 by pub-
lishing notice pursuant to Government Cade Section 6061 in the
"El Sobrante Herald Bee Press" , a newspaper of general circulation
in the area of the proposed County Service Area No. D-5. Publi-
cation shell be completed at Least seven days prior to July 21 , 1970.`

All that property situated in the County of Contra Costa,
State of California, described as follows:
All references to boundary lines, ownerships and acreages
are of the Official Records of Contra Costs. County, California.
Beginning at the intersection of the tenter line of San
Pablo Dam Road with the northwesterly extension of the western
line of Lot 1, Santa Rita Acres, Unit No. 1, filed October 21,
1937, in Book 22 of Neaps at pare 6451f thence Southerly along said
extension and along the western boundary of said Lot 1, to the
southwestern corner of said Lot 1; thence along the Southerly
extension of the western boundary of said Lot 1, a distance of
150 feet; thence Southeasterly to the most northern corner of
Lot 810 of the subdivision entitled, La Colina, filed April 140
1941, in Book 25 of Maps, at page 805; thence Southwesterly,
Southerly and Southeasterly along the western boundary of said
La Colinas to the most northern corner of that .16 acrd parcel
of land deeded to Eppie S. and Sara A. Quintana., recorded April
22, 1965: in Volume 4852 of official Records, at page 97; thence
Southwesterly along the northwestern lines of said Quintana parcel
to the southwestern corner thereof; said corner being a point on
the northern line of the right of way of La Cima Road as recorded
May '22, 1964 in Volumes 4623, of official Records, at page 86;
thence Westerly Pnd Southerly along said right of way line of La
Cims Read (4623 O.R. 86) to the point of intersection with the
