RESOLUTION OF APPLICATION FOR APPROVAL TO INITIATE
PROCEEDINGS FOR THE DISSOLUTION OF
COUNTY SERVICE AREA M-5
xhe Beard of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT;
This Board hereby determines that pursuant to Division l
(commencing with Section 56000) of the Government code , it
proposes to initiate proceedings for the dissolution of County
Service Area ,M-5 .
The reasons for the proposed dissolution of County Service
Area M--5 are that in the Immediate past- there has been a nonuser
of corporate powers by the said county service area, that there
Is a reasonable possibility that such nonuser may 'continue ,
and that the said county service area has no assets tither than
money in the form of cash, or liabilities,
IT IS HEREBY REQUESTED that the Local Agency Formation
Commission of Contra Costa County take all necessary proceedings
upon the proposal contained herein'' that the Board of Supervisors
be given approval of its proposal: to initiate the dissolution of
County Service Area M--5,
The Cleric of this Board is HEREBY DIRECTED to file a
certified copy of this Resolution of Application with the Execu-
tive Officer of the Local Agency Formation Commission.
PASSED AND ADOPTED on May 19, 1970 by this Board .
