RESOLUTION OF APPLICATION FOR APPROVAL TO
INITIATE PROCEEDINGS FOR CHANGE OF ORGANIZATION
TO ANNEX THE TERRITORY OF COUNTY SERVICE AREA F-5
TO THE CONTRA COSTA COUNTY FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT
The Beard of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT
This Board hereby determines that pursuant to Division l of
Title 6 (commencing with; Section 56300) of the Government Code
of the State of California, it proposes to initiate proceedings
for the change of organization to annex the territory of Count;
Service Arca F-5 to the Contra Costa County Fire Protection
District . The exterior boundaries of the territory proposed to
be annexed are as described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by
reference incorporated herein. The territory is uninhabited and
is located entirely within. ContraCosta County.
The reason for the application for annexation' is that this
Board feels that the annexation of the territory of County Service
Area F_5 to the Contra Costa Fire Protection District will provide
the residents of said territory with better fire protection services
for a lower tax rate than is presently being levied.
It is hereby requested that the Local Agency Formation
Commission of Contra Costa County take all necessary proceedings
upon the proposal contained herein that this Board of Supervisors
be given approval of its proposal to initiate the change of
organization to annex the territory of County Service Area F--5
to the Contra Costa. County Fire Protection District .
The Clerk of this Board is hereby directed to file a certified
copy of this Resolution of Application with the Executive Officer
of the Local Agency Formation Commission.
