Code 56140 , Territory of County Sanitation 56195, 56196) District No . 3 to the San Pablo Sanitary District RESOLUTION OF APPLICATION FOR APPROVAL TO INITIATE PR OCEEDINGS FOR CHANGE" OF ORGANIZATION TO ANNEX THE TERRITORY OF COUNTY SANITATION DISTRICT NO. 3 TO THE SAN PABLO SANITARY DISTRICT The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT: This Board hereby determines that pursuant to Division 1 of Title 6 (commencing with Section 56000) of the Government Code of the State of California, it proposes to Initiate pro- ceedings for the change of organization to annex the territory of County Sanitation District No. 3 to the San Pablo Sanitary District . The exterior boundaries of the territory proposed to be annexed are as described in Exhibit "All attached hereto and by reference incorporated herein. The territory is inhabited and is located entirely within Contra Costa County . The reason for the application for annexation Is that this Board feels that the annexation of the territory of County Sanitation District No. 3 to the San Pablo Sanitary District will provide the residents of said territory with better sewage treatment services than are presently being rendered. It is hereby requested that the Local Agency Formation Commission of Contra Costa County take all necessary proceedings upon the proposal contained herein that this Board of Supervisors be given approval of its proposal to Initiate the change of organization to annex the territory of County Sanitation District No. 3 to the San Pablo Sanitary District. The Clerk of this Board is hereby directed to file a certified copy of this Resolution of Application with the Executive Officer of the Local Agency Formation Commission.
