HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS - 08142001 - 2001-349 BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Resolution on August 14, 2001, by the following vote: AYES: SUPERVISORS GIOIA, GERBER, DESAULNIER, GLOVER and UILKEMA NOES: NONE ABSENT: NONE ABSTAIN: NONE RESOLUTION NO. 2001/349 SUBJECT: ADOPT Resolution No. 2001/ 349 to consider the Final Engineer's Report, determine sewer service charges for Fiscal Year 2001/2002, adopt Ordinance No. 27, and direct collection of sewer service charges on the tax roll for County Sanitation District No. 5, Port Costa area. (WO 9E40 ORG#73£0) The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES: 1. On July 24, 2001, the Board of Supervisors acknowledged the filing of the Preliminary Engineer's Report,INTRODUCED the Ordinance No. 27, and FIXED August 14,2001 as a public hearing date to consider the Fiscal Year 2001/2002 report and approval of the annual sewer service charges for Contra Costa County Sanitation District No. 5, Port Costa area. 2. On July 24, 2001, the Board of Supervisors as the Board of Directors HEARD and CONSIDERED all objections or protests,i f any,to the written report filed by the Public Works Director,as the Engineer Ex Officio of County Sanitation District No. 5, with the Clerk of the Board, as Ex Officio Clerk of the Board of said County Sanitation District, said written report containing a description of each parcel of real property receiving sewer service from said District and the amount of the charge against each parcel for Fiscal Year 2001/2002. NOW, THEREFORE, the Board FINDS, DETERMINES and ORDERS that: 3. A public hearing was held before the Board of Supervisors on August 14,2001 at 9:00 a.m. At hearing, the Engineer Ex Officio presented to the Board said protests, if any, were not made by the owners of a majority of separate parcels of property described in the report and overrule any such protects. 4. Confirm the Final Engineer's Report and determine annual sewer service charges for Fiscal Year 2001/2001, as described therein, and order a maximum rate for fiscal year. 5. Adopt Ordinance No. 9. 6. Direct the Clerk of the Board to file a copy of the written report with the County Auditor-Controller in accordance with the provision of Health & Safety Code Section 5473.4. 7. Adopt this Resolution to direct the County Auditor-Controller to levy the annual sewer service charges of$396.84 per dwelling unit on the tax roll for Fiscal Year 2001/2002.
