UNEPEAS, games E. Crossen was 6orn on August 27, 1916, in Far
Rockaway, New York. Yfe graduated from 1tatt Vniversity, New Tork where he
received an Architectural Design Degree. Yfe served in the Vnited States Navy from
1939 to 1965 and retired with the rankof Commander,
UMERMS, James E. Crossen and his family moved to San Ramon Valley in
1949 and settled in Danville. Ne was married to the late 4gtherine for 47 years. They
raised four children --Patricia, wichele, James, Jr., and(Paul.
UMEU,4S, a noted architect in the San Francisco Bay Area, Jim's work
includes several projects in Contra Costa County -- San Ramon Valley lfigh School,
Dia6lo valley College, Los Wedanos College, St. Isidore's Church in Danville, the San
Rzmon valley Fire Station in Danville, and the OldIDanv&Flaza in Danville;
WEIZEAS, Jim served on the Contra Costa County Blanning Commission in
the 1970's and was a mem6er the Danville 1ptary for IS years serving as Resident in
1973-74.
UNJf EAS, Jim's family and friends will gather on August 25, 1996, to
cele6rate his 80th Birthday.
