HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS - 08011989 - 89-514 J T. 2b THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Order on August 1, 1989 by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Powers, Fanden, Schroder, McPeak and Torlakson NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None RESOLUTION NO. 89/514 SUBJECT: Approval of a DDA between the Redevelopment Agency and Treat Corners Partnership, a California General Partnership, Pleasant Hill BART Station Area Redevelopment Project. It is the intent of the Redevelopment Agency to enter into a Disposition and Development Agreement (DDA) with Treat Corners Partnership, a California General Partnership, as the designated developer of Specific Plan Development Area 10A in the Pleasant Hill BART Station Area Redevelopment Project. The purpose of the DDA is to provide for: 1. Assistance by the Redevelopment Agency in the assemblage of the development site by Agency acquisition by negotiated purchase or eminent domain properties which are not subject to developer control. 2. The conveyance of properties purchased by the Agency to the developer. 3 . The orderly relocation of all businesses, and occupants as legally required. 4. The orderly development of Area 10A in accordance with the Redevelopment Plan. The DDA has been made available for public inspection; and the Agency and Board of Supervisors have held a duly noticed public hearing to consider the DDA. The Board of Supervisors and the Redevelopment Agency finds that the DDA is in the best interest of the County and the Agency, and is necessary for implementation of the Pleasant Hill BART Station Area Redevelopment Plan. Therefore, the Board of Supervisors RESOLVES: 1. That certain Disposition and Development Agreement between the Agency and Treat Corners Partnership, a California General Partnership, on file with the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors, affecting Specific Plan Development Area 10A in the Pleasant Hill BART Station Area Development Project, is hereby approved in substantially the form presented._ RESOLUTION NO. 89/514 2. The Executive Director or his designee is authorized to make such minor revisions in the DDA as he may deem necessary and to execute the DDA in substantially the form as before the Agency and the Board this day, and such other documents as may be reasonably necessary to carry out its terms and provisions.
