IN THE MATTER OF
Endorsing Expansion Of )
The Regional Shore Line ) RESOLUTION NO. 87/ 467
Park To Include Lone )
Tree Point at Rodeo )
WHEREAS, Lone Tree Point is a grass covered hillside along
the shore of San Pablo Bay at Rodeo; and
WHEREAS, The community of Rodeo has long enjoyed the lovely
vistas and sandy shores of Lone Tree Point; and
WHEREAS, The East Bay Regional Park District has through the
years been constructing a shoreline park and trail along the
shore of San Pablo Bay and Carquinez Strait; and
WHEREAS, The site known as Lone Tree Point is now available
for purchase; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, does hereby support the
expansion of the East Bay Regional Park District Shore Line
Park System to include Lone Tree Point, Rodeo, California.
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct
copy of an order entered on the minutes of said Board of
Supervisors of the Date aforesaid.
