THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA

SUBJECT: In the Matter of Compensation for
Management Employees in the Sheriff's RESOLUTION 84/ 526

of the Marshal - 1984
Paragraph 2, Section A (Spinoff Adjustment) of Resolution 84/424 Compensation
for County Officers and Management and Unrepresented Employees for 1984-1985 provides
that the Board may consider additional salary adjustment for managements asses whose
supervisory-subordinate relationships have been compacted as a result of increases
negotiated by subordinate represented classes, and
' The Sheriff-Coroner has requested that the monthly uniform allowance be
extended to certain non-sworn managers required to maintain a standard Administrative
Uniform,
THEREFORE, THE CONTRA COSTA COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS .RESOLVES:
(1) Effective August 1, 1984, salary levels for the following listed manage-
ment classes assigned to the Sheriff's Department, the Office of the District Attorney
and the Office of the Marshal are adjusted as indicated:

(2) Effective August 1, 1984, a monthly uniform allowance in the amount
of $35 shall be provided the following listed management classes:
Director, Inmate Services
Director, Support Services - Detention Facilities
Sheriff's Record Bureau Manager
Departmental Data Processing Analyst
