BEFORE THE BQM OF SUPERVISORS or COUNTY OF CONTRA COSTA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA In the Matter of the Proposed ) Abatement of the Property of ) RESOLUTION 67/561 William Wightaaan Norton and ) Violet I* Norton ) } WHYS, it appears from the records of this Board, that the Contra Costa County Building Inspector acting as the *Enforcement Agene'syy" pursuant to the provisions of Sections 17014 et eek,., of 'Title VIII of the California Admin- istrative dmistrativee Codes, having determined that the buildix located at 'Redwood Lanes Lafayette , and more particularly described as See Exhibit A s unfit for humans habitation or occupancy, and W therefor* a public nuisance, and said Building Inspector hawing posted said property with Ni.ee to At*U Nu sane e and having notified the owner (s) of said property that it is unfit for human habitation or occupancy, in the manner provided by lav as appears more particularly from the declaration of the Building Inspector on file herein; and s have WHEREAS, the said building/fto not been repaired or removed as re- quired by said Notice to Abate Nuisance; and WHEREAS, said Building Inspector thereafter posted said property with aNticg J�2 kbato AIJA&=j which Notice specified the time and plaice of the hear- ing before this Board for the owners of said property to shag cause why the building thereon should not be condemned as a public nuisance, and the Build- ing Inspector having notified the owners of said property of said hearing in the manner provideel by law, as appears more particularly from the declaration of the 14 2-65; 400 (Third Notice) 67/561, Building Inspector on File herein; and WHLRFAS, the matter having come on for hearing by this Board on Tueesday, August 8, 1967 j at 10j15 A.M.A*X. as provided in the Notice hersi.nabove mentioned; and WHEMS, the owner of said property having appeared and having quested ionalo time within which to correct deficiencies of maid ea building/and to a the nuisance thereof, and the v ng considered the matter and continued Baring to Tues , at A.M./P.M. BE IT F RTHa RESOLVED that it is the conclusion of this Board that s said buildinW cannot be reconstructed or repaired in a aanneer so as to comply with the provisions of Article R Chapter 9 of Title VIII of the California Administrative Code or the Contra Costa County Ordinance Cods and therefore s said buildinj must be rased or removed. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the notice posted to said property shall specify that if said nuisance is not abated within the tits allowed, said nuisance win be abated by the Building Inspector of this Counter, and the ex- pense thereof made a lien upon the land upon which said building (a) ars located.
