(Amending Ordinance No. 92-12 Re
Minor County Boundary Line Change for Villanova Drive Area)
i.
r. The Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors ordains as follows:
SECTION 1:
On February 25, 1992, pursuant to duly noticed hearing, the Board of
Supervisors of the County of Contra Costa adopted Ordinance 92-12, approving the
Villanova Drive Minor County Boundary Change between Contra Costa County and
Alameda County. Said Boundary Change was 1) to delete approximately one acre from
Alameda County and add that same territory to Contra Costa County and 2) to delete
approximately two acres from Contra Costa County and add that same territory to
Alameda County.
SECTION 2:
Alameda County has not completed the Boundary Change as originally
approved by this County, and instead has approved a modified proposal which only
deletes the approximately two acres from Contra Costa County and adds that same
territory to Alameda County. The modified proposal, as approved by Alameda County,
would not delete the approximately one acre from Alameda County and add the same
territory to Contra Costa County.
SECTION 3
This Board concurs with the modified proposal, as approved by Alameda
County, and hereby amends Ordinance 92-12 to accord with the modified proposal.
Said Ordinance 92-12 and all supporting documents are hereby amended to reflect that
the only change to the boundary shall be the deletion of approximately two acres from
Contra Costa County and the addition of that same territory to Alameda County.
SECTION 4:
The effective date of this Boundary Change shall be changed to September 1,
1992.
SECTION 5:
The Clerk of this Board shall transmit a certified copy of this Ordinance to the
Board of Supervisors of Alameda County.
SECTION 6:
The Clerk of this Board shall file with the State Board of Equalization and with
the Assessors of both Alameda County and Contra Costa County a statement setting
forth the revised legal description of the new boundary, as modified by this Ordinance,
together with a map or plat indicating the new boundary.
