The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT:
This •`Board DECLARES its intention to sell an option to sublease the real
property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein, under the
terms and conditions contained in the Notice of Intention to lease real property
attached hereto and made a part hereof, and AUTHORIZES the Chairman of the Board to
siqn this Resolution.
The Notice of Public Land Lease for said property prepared by the County
Lease Manaqer is hereby APPROVED.
This Board sets Tuesday, January 22, 1985, at 11 :00 a.m. , at 255 Glacier
Drive, Martinez, as the time and place where sealed bid proposals shall be opened and
declared prior to call for oral bids.
The Clerk of this Board is hereby DIRECTED to have the attached notice of
the adoption of this Resolution and of the time and place of holding said public sale
posted in three (3) public places in the County as follows:
1. At 2.55 Glacier Drive, Martinez, California;
2. At the Martinez Public Library, Martinez, California; and
3. At the County Administration Buildinq, Martinez, California,
not less than fifteen (15) days from the date of said sale, and to publish said notice
in lVest County Times a newspaper of general circulation, pursuant to Government
Code Section 6063.
This Board further DETERMINES that the proposed sale of an option to lease
this property is a Class 3 Categorical Exemption (new construction or conversion of
small structures) , under the California Environmental Ouality Act, and DIRECTS the
Public Works Director to file a Notice of Exemption with the County Clerk.
PASSED on December 18, 1984, by at least a two-thirds (2/3) vote of the full
Board.

The land referred to herein is situated in the unincorporated area of Contra Costa
County, State of California, described as follows:

A portion of Rancho Del Hombre (Northern Part) described as follows:
A 25 foot strip of land the centerline of which is described as follows:
Commencing on the monument line at a standard Contra Costa County street monument
No. CS-11 as shown on the County precise traverse form for Cummings skyway Road No. 1991
on file in the off ice of the County Survsyor ; thence North 58 50' 43" West along
said monument line ( the bearing North 58 50' 43" West being taken for the purpose
of this description) 740.64 feet to a standard Contra Costa County monument No. CS-12
of said precise traverse form; thence North 31° 09' 17" East 109.02 feet to the northerly
right of way line- of Cummings Skyway being also the southerly line of the deed from
C.W. McNear Inc. to John A. DeMartini recorded December 23, 1943 in Book 759 of Official

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO LEASE REAL PROPERTY
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Supervisors of Contra
Costa County has on December 18, 1984 adopted Resolution No. 84/777 by a
two-thirds (2/3) vote of all its members, declaring its intention to sell an
option to sublease a parcel of land, approximately one acre in size, located
at Nadeen Peak , Crockett area.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that it is proposed to sell said option to
the highest bidder or bidders . for cash; that Tuesday, January 22 , 1985, at
11 :00 a.m. , at 255 rlacier Drive, Martinez, has been fixed as the time and
place when sealed bids will be opened and considered; and that the minimum
bid is $100.00.
At the time set for the opening of bids, any person present may
offer orally to increase the amount of the highest written bid by at lease
five percent (5q) and to continue thereafter to bid orally in any amount
until the highest oral hid is made.
The highest bid or bids will be presented to the Board of, Super-
visors for acceptance. The Board may accept more thanone hid.
A Notice of- Public Land Lease containing terms and conditions of
the sale, bid forms, and a specific description of the property will be
furnished by the County Lease Manager, 255 Glacier Drive, Martinez, California
94553 (Phone 372-4616) , on request.
