RECOMMENDATION:
Adopt Position Adjustment Resolution Number 20593, to add one(1) Exempt Medical Staff Physician Fellow(VPR1)full-time position
at salary level 1 P2-1741 ($6,170.98).
FISCAL IMPACT:
Upon approval, this action will result in an annual cost of$120,913.37. 99% funded by Graduate Medical Education Reimbursement
and^Federal Qualified Health Care funds.
I V.
BACKGROUND:
Health Services utilizes this classification to provide a graduating Resident with clinical,training, organizational, and management
skills, and allows the incumbent to perform focused and specialized medical research. The requested position will be responsible to
provide clinical and inpatient services, and training to the Residents within the hospital and clinics.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
If this request is not approved, Contra Costa County Regional Medical Center and associated clinics will not have professional, skilled
medical staff to provide clinical and inpatient services, and training to Residents.
