(.District V) Project No. 7505-61-.8358 DAT11--: ALI`IILISt 19, 2008 PACE: 2 of 2 REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATIONS AND BACKGROUND: On November 11992,the Board of Supervisors approved a License Aureement with EBRPD f01-the COnStrUCtlon and maintenance Of a recreational trail along Marsh Creek, extending 11-0111 its Confluence with Dry Creel:to the Delta. As pal-t of the new construction of East Cypress Road, the City of Oakley has installed a signalized pedestrian crossing where the trail crosses. EBRPD has requested that the License Agreement be amended t0 redefine and redUce the limits of the trail. CONSEQUENCES OF NEGATIVE ACTION: EBRPD will.be required to continue the upkeep and maintenance of the affected section that Is no longer accessible to the public. I .1 i I
