SUBJECT: Amend.the Consulting Services Agreement with Nolte Associates, Inc.
(Various Project Funds), Countywide (All Districts)
SPECIFIC REQUEST(S)OR RECOMMENDATION(S)&BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
APPROVE amending the agreement term limits with Nolte.Associates, Inc. to extend the completion date of the
agreement through July 31, 2009, with no change to the current payment limit for on-call civil engineering
consultant services as recommended by the Public Works Director.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no change to the current agreement payment limit of as a part of this Board Order. No general funds are
used to pay for work performed under this agreement, therefore.

SUBJECT: Amendment to an existing Consulting Services Agreement with Nolte Associates, Inc.
(Various Project Funds), Countywide (All Districts)

BACKGROUND AND REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATIONS:
The existing consulting services.agreement was established in July.of 2006. Extension of the completion date
beyond the original limits of the Agreement is necessary to complete on-going civil engineering services on current
projects.
CONSEQUENCES OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
Negative action will result in the delay in completing projects requiring civil engineering services in a timely
manner.
