SPECIFIC REQUEST(S) OR RECOMMENDATION(S) & BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION RECOMMENDATION: ADOPT Position Adjustment Resolution No. 20584 to increase the hours of one.Registered Nurse-Experienced Level (represented) from 20/40 to 28/40,in the Health Services Department, Contra Costa Health Plan. (100% Enterprise II Fund) (All Districts) FISCAL IMPACT: The additional hours will result in an annual increased cost of$26,177.43. Cost will be offset by elimination of the straight time overtime being incurred by employee including benefits. Cost is funded by the Enterprise II funds. BACKGROUND: Current employee in Position#10348 currently works 20/40, however employee has consistently worked over their assigned position hours for the period of October 1, 2007 to the present. The department's decision to increase work hours is warranted due to the indefinite, continuous need for additional hours. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: There would be no negative consequence to department.
