RECOMMENDATION:
Adopt Position Adjustment Resolution Number 20573,to add one(1) permanent full-time Deputy Sheriff(6XWA) position at salary level
VHX 1688 ($5,451-6,791)as recommended by the Assistant County Administrator-Director of Human Resources.
FISCAL IMPACT: t
Upon approval, this action will result in an annual cost of$184,024 and 100%funded from the City of Oakley.
BACKGROUND:
The Office of the Sheriff is requesting the addition of this position to provide an increase level of police services to the City of Oakley.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
Insufficient police services'would impact the safety and welfare of the cmu 'y.
