RECOMMENDATION:
Adopt Position Adjustment Resolution Number 20576, adding one(1) permanent full-time Environmental Analyst II (5RVA) position at
salary level 8851548 ($4,850-$5,896), as recommended by the Assistant County Administrator-Human Resources Director
FISCAL IMPACT:
Upon approval, this action will result in an annual cost of $123,821 and will be fully funded by Road and Flood Control Funds. This
action will result in no net County cost
BACKGROUND:
The Public Works Department is adding this position in order to maintain adequate staffing levels in the Environmental Unit of the
Engineering Services Division.The unit is responsible for providing environmental clearances for a variety of Public Works projects and
this position will be directly involved in the procurement of these clearances.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
If this request is not approved, the Department will not be able to secure environmental clearance f variety of Public Works
projects in a timely and effective manner.
