The Human Resource Department conducted a thorough study by including the staff support functions of all positions assigned to CaIWIN Help Desk, and Site Support Coordinators. The department also included in the study two supervisors and the Child Welfare Services Case Management Services classification. The study concluded that four (4) new classifications be established. Additionally, reallocate the salary of similar classifications of the Child Welfare Services Case Management Services. After the conclusion of the study, it was agreed that the County establish the above named classifications at the salary level recommended and to reclassify the incumbents as of January 1, 2008. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this request is not approved, the County will not be implementing the results of the study and the incumbents will be inappropriately classified. RETROACTIVE PAY: Allocate the salary levels as recommended by the reclassification study effective January 1, 2008. We recommend that the upcoming July 2008 2% Cost Of Living Adjustment(COLA) for these classifications be awarded.
