In reviewing the organizational needs for the unit including staffing needed, the,department has determined that canceling and adding the above-mentioned positions would best service the unit's needs at this time. The added Registered Nurse-Experienced level will be assigned to Infection Prevention and Control unit and will be responsible for addressing patient care issues. The Medical Staff Coordinator will provide administrative support and resources to various hospital committees. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this request is not approved,the Safety and Performance Improvement Unit will not have the appropriate staff needed for operational purposes.
