ADOPT Resolution No. 2008/500 re-appointing Supervisor Mary N. Piepho to serve as the Local Agency Formation Commission Alternate for a new four-year term expiring May 7, 2012. 2. INDICATE that this Resolution supersedes in its entirety Resolution No. 2008/209 which was adopted by the Board of Supervisors on April 1, 2008. FISCAL IMPACT: No fiscal impact on Contra Costa County. BACKGROUND: On May 5, 2008, the term of current Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO) Alternate appointment expired. As Chair of the Board of Supervisors, I am recommending the re-appointment of Supervisor Mary N. Piepho to a new four-year term expiring on May 7, 2012.
