The corrected amount for the contract is $129,600 with no change in the term of July 1, 2007 through June 30, 2008. (Budgeted, 100% Federal funds) (All Districts) FISCAL IMPACT: This contract is funded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families (ACF). Funding for the contract is included in the Department's FY 2007-08 budget. There is no net County cost associat d with this contract. These outcomes are achieved by offering comprehensive services, including high quality early childhood education, nutrition, and health services to low- income children throughout Contra Costa County. BACKGROUND: On September 12, 2006, the Board approved and authorized submission of the 2007 Head Start and Early Head Start Continuation grant applications to continue Head Start and Early Head Start program services.to eligible children and their families for the period January 1 — December 31, 2007. Approval of the contract will allow continuation of Head Start and Early Head Start program services to program eligible children. The June 26, 2007 board order listed contract payments for each community-based agency partner. Since board approval, the program slots have been adjusted, necessitating this board order to reflect the new contract amount for one of the partners, YMCA of the East Bay. This board order is to authorize the proposed program change to increase the number of childcare slots assigned to this partner. I i i i
