FINANCIAL IMPACT This action provides appropriations from accumulated depreciation and estimated salvage for the replacement of three vehicles. The estimated purchase cost. of $44,491 will be funded with accumulated depreciation ($47,397) and estimated salvage ($4,500). The remaining $7,406 will be applied to future replacement vehicle purchases within the Fleet Services Budget. BACKGROUND Two vehicles are being replaced for the Probation Department. Both vehicles have mileage over 90,000. The Public Defender is replacing one vehicle with mileage over 108,000. These vehicles qualify for replacement in accordance with the County's Vehicle and Equipment Acquisition Policy.
