SPECIFIC REQUEST(S)OR RECOMMENDATION(S)&BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
RECOMMENDATION:
Adopt Position Adjustment Resolution # 20119 RECLASSIFY Senior Emergency Planning
Coordinator (9GWB) position #3469 and incumbent to Emergency Services Manager (9GGA).
FISCAL IMPACT:
The total annual cost associated with this action.is $11,736 and will be funded from General Fund.
The total Net County cost FY2006-07 is $9,780.
BACKGROUND:
The Office of the Sheriff is requesting to reclassify a Senior Emergency Planning Coordinator position
#3469 and its incumbent to the classification of Emergency Services Manager.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
Should this request not be granted, the incumbent will not be appropriately classified for duties
performed outside of his current classification.
