AUTHORIZE the Public Works Director,i or designee, to abstain from voting for a proposed assessment
increase for Reclamation District No. 830, Oakley Area. (District V) Project No. 0676-6P1042
Financial Impact:
I
There will be no financial impact to the Gene lral Fund.

Reasons for Recommendations and Background:
I
Reclamation District 830 (Jersey Island) will be holding an election to determine property owners interest in
raising the annual assessment of properties located within the Districts boundary. The County's assessment
could potentially increase from $10,759 to $24,234. Ballots are due by September 25, 2006.
Consequences of Negative Action:
I
Failure to approve this board order has no negative consequence. It is Public Works recommendation to abstain
from voting in this case.
