I BACKGROUND: I The Employment and Human Services Department just passed the one year anniversary of CaIWIN Go Live. It has been an interesting and trying year for staff to implement this new program. CaIWIN has impacted virtually every aspect of the way businesslis conducted and has touched virtually every employee. The employees of EHSD have worked hard over the past year to learn and implement the new system, implement the numerous changes that have been passed down from the State on the CaIWIN Project while still delivering a high level of service to their clients. EHSD employees continue to grow and develop with CaIWIN as the system grows,(changes and evolves (CaIWIN is approaching Change 15). I EHSD would like to celebrate the one year milestone and recognize the extraordinary efforts of the EHSD employees who worked to serve their clients using CaIWIN by having CaIWIN Recognition events the week of September 18, 2006 (or as soon thereafter as can be arranged). This recognition celebration is also intended to boost morale as the employees continue to cope with the numerous changes to CaIWIN as the system continues to evolve.
