SUBJECT: Contract with Larry Digman to Provide Services in Assisting with Data Warehouse Analysis and
Evaluating
SPECIFIC REQUEST(S) OR RECOMMENDATION(S) & BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Interim Employment and Human Services Director, or designee, to execute a
contract with Larry Digman in an amount not to exceed $88,730 to provide data analysis and evaluation in
support of the California Works Information Network (CalWIN) for the period September 12, 2006 through
February 14, 2007. (Budgeted: 20% County; 80%Federal/State) (All Districts)
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
$88,730: Administrative Overhead; 20% County; 80% Federal/State
CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT:
This contract supports none of the community outcomes established in the Children's Report Card.
BACKGROUND:
Mr. Digman was selected through the competitive bidding, Request for Interest#270 (RFI 270). He will be
responsible for designing, implementing, and operating a data warehouse for the legacy welfare system. He will
identify and prioritize business requirements for CAWIN operations, prepare legacy system reports and
collaborate and consult with Ca1WIN vendor and user staff. (19-050-1)
