Future California Supreme Court Justice, JosephsB`,.Crockett represented Soto through the legal steps required to confirm the grant For his legal work,`Groekett received1800 acres of land; and WHEREAS, In 1867 Thomas Edwardsiat the invitafion of his fiend Joseph`Crockett.relocated to the Carquinez Strait to become}Crockett's'paitner in the operation ofa gram and cattlefarm on the south shore of the Strait.
