ANNUAL & FISCAL IMPACT The total annual net County cost associated with this action is $ 11,793.24. The cost will come from General Fund. BACKGROUND: The Office of the Sheriff's budget is complex and extensive. To ensure proper oversight and to properly plan for personnel backfill, it is crucial to add a professional Accountant III position to assist the duties of the newly appointed Fiscal Officer and the Fiscal Unit. CONSEQUENCES OF NEGTIVE ACTION: Insufficient professional level accounting support staff to the Fiscal Unit.
