AICP Costa Community Development Director � R,� DATE: August -15. 2006 County ,Sra�st�fi .l I SUBJECT: Transportation Demand Management Program — Contra Costa Centre SPECIFIC REQUEST(S)OR RECO.MNIENDATION(S)&BACKGROUND AND JJSTIF:CATION I I RECOMMENDATION: I RATIFY purchase of services from the Contra Costa Centre and AUTHORIZE the Auditor- Controller to pay up to $50,000 outstanding balance for Transportation Demand Management i services provided for the period July 1, 2005 to June 30, 2006. FINANCIAL IMPACT: j None to County General Funds. The commercial property owners at Contra Costa Centre have approved the formation of a County Service Area to fund mandated Transportation Demand Management services in the area with additional funds from a special revenue account i held by the County on behalf of the Contra Costa Center Association (fund 2476, org. 7476). The additional revenues are from a prior assessment proceeding of the County that involved the commercial property owner at Contra Costa Centre. The Cc�rt} has entered into an I agreement with the Contra Costa Centre Association to manage the TTDIM program for the Contra Costa Centre area each year since 1990 .
